Architecture / Landscape / Material

Built fromthe land.Shaped by light.

AUREN explores the relationship between elemental landscapes and considered spaces. Each project begins with its place, its materials, and the way people move through it.

02 · Philosophy

Place first. Then mass. Then restraint.

The slope decides where a house sits, the weather how it closes, and the light where it opens. What is left is weight, shadow and a few deliberate edges.

03 · Threshold

One opening. Everything beyond it.

04 · Interior

Inside, the land is framed, not shown.

A long gallery runs into the hill. Daylight from the threshold and the far window is all the light it needs.

05 · Material

Concrete, stone, a little timber.

Board-formed walls keep the marks of their making. Basalt underfoot. Oak only where a hand rests.

The Stone House — Concept study

A sequence of monolithic concrete volumes settles into a rugged slope. Deep-set glazing frames the landscape, while a sheltered courtyard creates a quieter interior world. Stone, concrete, and restrained timber give the architecture its material rhythm.

07 · Studio

A small studio for difficult ground.

AUREN works where land, mass and light meet. Every project starts on site: the slope, the weather, the walk to the door.

We draw slowly, build little, and leave the landscape more legible than we found it.

AUREN is a fictional studio. The work shown is a concept study.
